Gratitude. So very much of it.
1. The meeting must go on. I was supposed to travel to Dallas yesterday to be part of a Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) peer review panel. Because of wacky weather both here and there, my flight was cancelled. Several of us panelists couldn’t make it, so we dialed in to a WebEx. Not the same, but still an honor.
2. Five stars. Since publishing my book on Sunday, I have garnered six 5-star reviews from readers. Six! Humbling doesn’t even begin. I’m grateful to everyone who has read the book.
3. This week. It’s big. With my book being published and the CPRIT meeting, it’s already been a big week. And there is more to come. Major announcement Friday. Major! Watch this space for updates.
